learning

Today’s education must adapt to the growing generation. We need to take into account the peculiarities of today’s children and introduce new technology into today’s school.

To make learning more lively and interactive, gamification is used: elements of games (including computer and video games) are introduced into the educational process.

Gamification changes the attitude towards mistakes – children are no longer afraid of the conditional “D”. The opportunity to go through a mission all over again is an important principle in a computer game. You can look for a solution as much as you like and find new options each time.

Gamification is already successfully used in practice. Children receive XP (experience points) for completing their homework. Just like in your favorite computer games! Each task has a level of difficulty: from introductory to Olympic level. The harder and the less hints you get, the more XP you get. Experience points add up and allow students to progress from an easy level to a more challenging and interesting one.

Visual aids and technologies are increasingly being used in the educational process. It’s, again, about the peculiarities of the current generation.

Our kids do everything with the help of YouTube – making their own hands, getting their hair cut and dyed, unpacking packages and learning languages. Statistics show that 85 percent of teens use YouTube all the time, and 80 percent of them say that videos are a way for them to learn more about their hobbies. Not surprisingly, teachers are increasingly using videos, films and recorded lectures in their teaching.

With the increased use of modern educational technology, children will be able to learn about school subjects using virtual and augmented reality technology. For example, by wearing a VR helmet, a child can observe historical events and even participate in them! Such learning is called immersive, it creates an “immersive effect” and allows you to experience an experience that would be impossible in the real world.

Such an exciting, modern format of learning will allow you to better absorb information, because it’s better to see once than hear a hundred times.
